If there is one thing we can all agree on about our current civilization, it's that we build a lot of things. Our homes are complex structures, designed by engineers and constructed by a wide range of tradespeople with various expertise. Our roads are made from many layers of material to ensure they are strong and stable. Every day, thousands upon thousands of construction workers and contractors go to work to build even more things. And you know what? We would not have it any other way. We enjoy living in this built world so much that we write about construction on this blog.
